Dr. Tyler has completed a Doctorate of Philosophy in Clinical Christian Counseling. She is a member of the American
 Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) She has a non-profit organization called My Sister’s Keeper, established in 1990 a female adolescent crisis shelter and she is the founder and facilitator of the support/discussion group called “Focused Women.” Dr. Tyler is Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor she also has advanced certification to administer temperament theory/therapy as developed by Drs. Richard and Phyllis Arno of the NCCA. This therapy has been validated to have a 93% success rate with persons seeking Christian counseling.

She has been counseling since 1989. CitiCounseling Centers was established in 1999, it is a biblically based counseling service. It uses biblical principles to help people resolve problems through the scriptures. Dr. Tyler is licensed by the National Christian Counselors Association and holds credentials with the Jacksonville Theological Seminary.
